tax identification form |
obtain a Permit from the city, finance a car from a car lot, paint it in accordance with the city ordinances, have a top lite and meter installed, buy commercial insurance, have the car inspected, then we lease it to a liscened taxi driver. We have a dispatcher who answers the phone and dispatches the calls to the driver. so far we have invested alot of money time and effort and went through oodles of drivers to finally find 3 that are dependable. We have to pay for a phone with a roll over number and 500 dollars a month for 5 radios when we only have 2 cabs. I myself am in the process of LLC because of the potential liability of law suits. The company is looking for companies such as hospitals and large meet packing industry workers wanting to car pool. I am not even sure sure that I need a tax ID number. But Ido want to open a Business account with a Bank to be able to deposit any potential checks a corporation may write. And also to deposit the lease money so when it comes time to pay the bills, (Phone, gas, water, lease for the dispatch office, radio, Commercial ins, Car Loan payments, Loan companies that we barrowed money from to start the business,Well the company survived the first year, however we are in debt up to our eyeballs. well I don't probably need a tin. What is the purpose of a tin? |
